One of Dave's passions relating to the voice industry was the "Fast-as-Hell" Club. Dave came up with the name "Fast-as-Hell" Club because Horace Webb refers to the National Speed Championship 350 wpm speed test as that. Dave thought it only fitting to name the club after it.
In 2008 NVRA officially inducted those individuals into the FAH Club, and Dave had a special coin designed for those privileged and crazy enough to have made the effort to participate in that "Fast-as-Hell" word per minute speed test.
